Snack Using Sprouted Grams- Nutritious And Delicious

Ingredients

  • Green Gram
  • Dew Gram
  • Horse Gram
  • Sesame Oil
  • Mustard Seeds
  • Cumin Seeds
  • Chana Dal
  • Curry Leaves
  • Onion
  • Green Chillies
  • Turmeric Powder
  • Coconut
  • Salt
  • Coriander Leaves

Prerequisite

  1. Grate the coconut.
  2. Chop the onions.
  3. Cut green chillies into small pieces.

Recipe

Making Sprouts

In a bowl take 1 cup of each green gram, dew gram, and horse gram. Soak them in water for 1 day and filter the water, cover them completely using a cotton cloth(white cloth recommended) for 1 night or a day. Next day you will see the sprouts.

Grinding

Take the sprouted grams in a mixer jar and grind them partially.

Steaming

In an idli streamer the grinded grams and cook for 20 minutes.

Sauteing

In a tawa, add 5 spoons of sesame oil and heat it.

Add 1/2 spoon of mustard seeds and 1/2 spoon of cumin seeds. Let them crackle.

Add 2 spoons of chana dal, a small number of curry leaves, 1/2 cup of chopped onions, 2 green chillies, and 1 spoon of turmeric powder. Saute them well.

Add 1 cup of grated coconut and saute it. Add the prepared steamed grams and 2 spoons of salt. Mix well.

At last, add some coriander leaves.
