Sambar Rava Idly Recipe- A Taste Of Tradition

Ingredients

  • Split Gram
  • Carrot
  • Beans
  • Split green gram

  • Coriander Leaves
  • Cumin Seeds
  • Fenugreek Seeds
  • Salt
  • Curd
  • Tomato

Prerequisites

  1. Cut carrot, beans, tomato, and red chili into small pieces.

Recipe

Cooking Dal

In a cooker, add 1 cup of split gram, 2 red chilies, 1 tomato, 1 spoon of cumin seeds, 1/2 spoon of fenugreek seeds, 1 spoon of turmeric powder, and 2 glasses of water.

Cook them for a whistle.

Roasting

Add a spoonful of ghee and 3 spoons of split green gram in a tawa and roast them for 5 minutes.

Next, add 1 cup of mixed carrot, beans, and 1 spoon of ghee, roast fry them for 5 minutes.

Preparing Flour

To the boiled dal, add 200g of wheat rava, fried carrot, beans, and split green gram, 1 spoon of salt, a small number of curry leaves and coriander leaves, 1/2 cup of curd, and mix them well.

Boiling

Add the prepared flour into an idli steamer and cook it for 10 minutes.
