Aval Pongal Recipe- Sweetest Delight

 


Ingredients

  • Poha
  • Banana
  • Jaggery
  • Cashew Nuts
  • Cardamom

Prerequisite

  1. Cut the banana into small pieces.

Recipe

Soaking Poha

Soak 150 g of poha in water for just 2 minutes and take them out.

Roasting Cashew Nuts

Take 5 spoons of ghee in a tawa, add cashew nuts, and roast them.

Making Pongal

In a tawa, add 150 g of jaggery and 1 glass of water. Boil well.

Once the jaggery is dissolved in water, add 150 g of poha and mix well. Add 1/2 cup of milk(optional). Add roasted cashew nuts, 2 cardamom, and 2 bananas.
