Diwali Special Sweet: Easy Mysore Pak Recipe

 


Ingredients

  • Besan Flour
  • Sugar
  • Ghee
  • Sunflower Oil

Recipe

Roasting Besan Flour

In a tawa, add 500 g of besan flour and roast them for 5 minutes.

Melting Ghee

Melt 500ml of ghee well.

Preparing Besan Mixture

Transfer the roasted besan flour to a bowl add 250ml of ghee and 250ml of sunflower oil and mix well.

Preparing Sugar Syrup

In a tawa, add 1 kg of sugar and 500ml of water and mix well.

Let the sugar syrup reach 1 string consistency.

Preparing Mysore Pak

Once the sugar syrup reaches 1 string consistency, add the prepared besan mixture and mix well.

Once the besan mixture starts to become thicker add some ghee and oil in particular intervals.

Transfer the besan mixture to a tray and let it cool for 3 hours and cut them into small pieces.
