Halwa recipe in tamil | Simple sweet recipes

 


Ingredients

  • Pumpkin
  • Carrot
  • Poha
  • Sunflower Oil
  • Ghee
  • Sugar
  • Cashew Nuts
  • Food Colour (Kesari Powder)
  • Raisins

Pre-requisite

  1. Grate the pumpkin and carrot.

Recipe:

In a tawa, add 5 spoons of sunflower oil and heat the oil. Add 300 g of grated pumpkin. No need to add water. Saute the grated pumpkin. Add a cup of sugar and mix well.

After the sugar melts, add 100 g of grated carrot and mix well. Add a pinch of Kesari Powder ( or any food color).

Take a cup of poha soak it in water for 2 minutes and add it with the halwa. At last, add some Cashew nuts and raisins and mix well.
