Ragi Murukku- Crispy And Healthy Snack

Ingredients

  • Ragi Flour
  • Gram Flour
  • Rice
  • Roasted Gram Flour
  • Carom Seeds
  • Red Chillies
  • Sesame Seeds
  • Asafoetida Powder
  • Sesame Oil
  • Sunflower Oil

Recipe

Preparing The Dough

Soak 1/2 cup of rice in water for 1 hour.

In a mixer jar, add 1/2 cup of rice, 2 red chillies, and 1/2 glass of water. Grind them.

To the grinded rice, add a cup of ragi flour, 1/2 cup of gram flour, 1/2 cup of roasted gram flour, 1/2 spoon of carom seeds, 1 1/2 spoons of sesame seeds, a pinch of asafoetida powder, 3 spoons of sesame oil, and 1 spoonful of salt. Add 1 glass of water and knead well.

Making Murukku

In a tawa, take 300ml of sunflower oil and heat it.

Fry the Murukku once the oil becomes hot.
