Veg Lollipops: A Healthy Appetizer Recipe

Ingredients

  • Gram Flour
  • Maida
  • Beetroot
  • Carrot
  • Beans
  • Sunflower Oil
  • Ginger-Garlic Paste
  • Salt
  • Curry Masala Powder
  • Chilli Powder
  • Chicken Masala Powder
  • Potato
  • Green Peas
  • Lemon
  • Fennel Seeds
  • Green Chilli
  • Coriander Leaves
  • Curry Leaves

Prerequisite

  1. Grate beetroot and carrot
  2. Cut the beans, green chilli, curry leaves, and coriander leaves into small pieces

Recipe

Cooking Vegetables

Take 300g of potatoes (peel the skin) and 1/2 cup of green peas and boil them well.

After boiling them, mash them well.

Sauteing Vegetables

In a tawa, take 3 spoons of sunflower oil and heat it. Add 1/2 cup of grated carrot, 1/2 cup of grated beetroot, and 1/2 cup of chopped beans. Saute them in oil for 10 minutes.

Preparing Balls

To the mashed potatoes and green peas, add the sauteed vegetables, 4 spoons of gram flour, 2 spoons of maida, 2 spoons of chicken masala powder, 1 spoon of each curry masala powder and chilli powder, 1 spoon of ginger-garlic paste, 2 green chillies, a small number of curry leaves and coriander leaves, 1 spoon of salt, and 10 drops of lemon juice. Knead them without adding water.

Make small balls and insert the sticks.

Frying Veg Lollipop

In a tawa, take the required oil for frying and heat it.

Fry the prepared veg Lollipop for 10 minutes.
