Ingredients
- Coconut
- Chana Dal
- Rice Flour
- Jaggery
- Salt
- Ghee
Prerequisite
- Grate the coconut.
- Take a cup of chana dal, cook, and mash them.
Recipe
Preparing The Dough
Take 250 g of rice flour and add a pinch of salt and 1 glass of hot water. Knead well.
Preparing Pooranam
In a tawa, add 2 spoons of ghee, 250 g of jaggery, and 1 cup of grated coconut. Cook them until the jaggery dissolves.
Add a cup of mashed chana dal and ghee. Mix well. Once the stuff gets ready, let it cool.
Preparing Kozhukattai
Stuff the prepared sweets(jaggery and chana dal mix) with the dough and cook them in an idli steamer for 20 minutes.
